Jane an international artist and art tutor, and her exquisite artwork is a perfect example of how Eastern and Western fine art practice meet.
Jane has painted hundreds of native wildflowers and is very knowledgeable about Australian native plants. She has been a volunteer guide at Kings Park since 2015.
In this workshop she will guide you step by step in how to draw and paint a native flower. You will explore techniques of drawing with pen and painting with watercolour, learn how to build up depth and dimension by using lines, shapes, shading and softening skills, learn how to mix colours, and how and when to use the different types of brushes. In addition, you will also learn how to design your painting with right composition.
