Aspects will be showcasing Floralia - a unique collaboration between artist Helen Ansell and designer Karen Elizabeth Young.
Helen and Karen have joined forces to create a gown that reflects the elegance and detailed beauty of our abundant native flora and fauna.
Helen Ansell is an enormously well respected regional Western Australian artist, whose vibrant paintings capture the spirit of native flora and fauna. As a child she was, and still is, inspired by the wild desert landscape. Helen now lives with her family in Mullewa, the centre of Western Australia's wildflower country. She is passionate about supporting regional communities and has taken part in large scale public art projects.
Karen Elizabeth Young is a Perth based designer locally producing exclusive, limited edition garments. Designed and handcrafted in Perth, Karen specialises in knock-out statement designs that take the wearer seamlessly from day to night for every occasion.
