Fraser Avenue tree lights

Light up the night!

Fraser Avenue is the iconic entrance to Kings Park and Botanic Garden, lined by towering lemon-scented gums. In the evenings, the canopy lights up with coloured feature lighting ranging from simple white to a rainbow of colour.

The Fraser Avenue feature lighting is available to book for community groups, registered charities, government authorities, corporate groups and private events.

The lights can be lit up in a range of colours to promot a signifanct occasion or to bring attention to your event or organisation. Your booked date/s will be included on the Kings Park and Botanic Garden website under what's on to ensure visitors can be aware of what event or occasion the colours represent.

Availability

Lights can be booked for a single night or for up to seven consecutive nights (subject to availability) and can be booked up to two years in advance.

With the exception of a few significant dates, the lights are available to book all year round. Bookings are not available for the following dates:

Australia Day – 26 January
Earth Day – 22 April
Anzac Day – 25 April
NAIDOC Week - July
Remembrance Day – 11 November
Christmas and New Year period - 24 December to 2 January

Colour and Effects

Single or two colours can be selected or rainbow, which crossfades through the entire colour range excluding white.

Available colours are: red, orange, yellow, green, spring green, turquoise, cyan, sky blue, blue, purple, magenta, pink, warm white and cool white.

Fees and charges

Community and Registered Charities

$250 for a single day
$125 per day for subsequent days

Private

$250 for a single day
$125 per day for subsequent days

Corporate

$500 for a single day
$250 per day for subsequent days

Fees include GST and a non-refundable fee of $80 applies.

Rates remain the same regardless of week or weekend days. Fees and charges are reviewed annually and can change without notice.
