Noongar Boodja Six Seasons

Kulunga Katitjin Kaarta Koomba - exploring Aboriginal culture to promote sustainability and reconciliation.

This immersive program will enhance respect for Aboriginal people, appreciation for diversity in our community and a sense of responsibility for caring for our natural environment.

Students in Year 1 to 6 join Aboriginal presenters as they share their knowledge of the six Noongar seasons and traditional life.  Students participate in cultural activities traditionally associated with the seasons, such as plant uses for food and medicine, hunting, language, art, dance, and traditional games.
