Kings Park and Botanic Garden's beautiful gardens, parklands, playgrounds and free barbecue facilities make it a popular venue for family, friends and community groups to celebrate special occasions.
With a wide range of venues on offer, whether you're after a shady lawn, a gazebo or a larger pavilion, you will find a great outdoor setting for your next get together.
All groups are required to make a booking if they wish to secure a venue and/or have engaged a commercial provider such as a face painter, stylist or caterer.
Booking a venue provides the use of an area, signage to ensure that your guests and any commercial providers can locate your party, and lets other visitors know that the venue is booked for your event. Your hire also includes power, where available, and an alcohol permit if required.
If you don't wish to secure a venue and are not engaging a provider, groups of less than 25 people are welcome to visit without a booking. If you are bringing alcohol, a permit is required. Permits do not incur any fees.
Groups of 25-50 people who do not require a venue are requested to make a 'visit to the park' booking. This booking does not incur any fees and will include an alcohol permit if required. All groups over 50 need to make a booking and pay the appropriate venue hire fees.

Each of our venues have different proximity to amenities, site access and hire fees, be sure to check the venue information to make certain you choose a location that suits your needs. We also recommend visiting your preferred venue before making a booking.
