Beaufortia aestiva

Kalbarri Beaufortia

An upright shrub growing up to 2m high x 1.5m wide, the Kalbarri Beaufortia can be dense and rounded or open and spreading. Many vibrant orange-red flowers appear on and off throughout the year, with peak flowering from early spring through summer.

Small aromatic green leaves sit close to the stem and are pleasantly aromatic.

The species name aestiva is from the Latin, meaning summer, referring to the presence of the orange-red flowers during the summer months.
