Explore the roots of Kings Park with Lightscape in 2024
Lightscape returns to Perth with a reimagined wonderland of light, colour and sound.
This second edition will explore Roots, delving into the hidden mysteries of the world beneath our feet.
A magical soundscape will provide the backdrop to intricate colour-changing clusters, glowing root chandeliers and a larger-than-life tunnel of hearts, among the many new lighting extravaganzas to experience.
Noongar culture forms the roots of Kings Park history, heritage and storytelling, and Lightscape will once again celebrate Aboriginal culture and knowledge with unique works by First Nations creators.
Added to the list will be the return of crowd-favourites such as the Winter Cathedral with its spectacular array of more than 100,000 twinkling lights.
The sell-out success of Lightscape Kings Park in 2023 funded important park upgrades including work to improve accessibility of the Western Australian Botanic Garden for visitors of all abilities year-round.
Lightscape is a partnership between Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority and Sony, powered by City of Perth with support from Roy Hill.
Tickets are on sale from 22 December 2023 via Ticketek and start from $36 for an adult, $28 for a child or $120 for a family.
